Men
I Work With
There's a stigma around men and therapy. "If you go to therapy, you're weak," they say. But the truth is, you're not weak, you're actually one of the few men willing to do the inner work of self-transformation. It takes courage to face yourself. Believing the lie that asking for help is weak only prolongs the issues in your life. By continuing to sweep your problems under the rug, you not only hurt yourself but also those around you, as your issues inevitably leak out sideways onto those you love. By choosing to take this step, you are breaking the cycle. If you're a man whose ready to step into the arena, send me a message.
Boys (10 - 18)
When working with boys, my greatest strength is my ability to relate to them. Often times, I hear from parents that their child simply doesn't want to go to therapy because he is either afraid to or he hasn't a good experience with prior therapists. I address both of these issues by helping him feel seen and heard by taking a genuine interest in his life, and then teaching him how to become aware of his feelings and express them healthily. Overall, I strive to be a healthy male role model for them. If your son needs therapy but is resistant or hasn't had success with it in the past, send me a message for a free consult and we'll see if we're a good fit.

Client Feedback
"I worry that a phrase like “life-changing” might seem like overkill, but truth is truth. My experience working with Taylor has been life-changing. I’m a much happier and more self-aware person than I was before I walked into Taylor’s office some six years ago. Taylor is both knowledgeable and insightful, but his expertise is more than matched by his compassion. Deciding to work with Taylor is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made."
- Male Client of 6 Years
“After years of working with other therapists, it was refreshing to work with Taylor. His approach to finding a path to healing past trauma, using EMDR, and getting me out of my head and into my body has been incredible. Being able to put a name to my trauma (Childhood Emotional Neglect), and then identifying and exploring my emotions (for the first time), has allowed me to reframe limiting beliefs that have held me back. He offers a warm, compassionate, and safe space to get real work done.”
- Male Client of 2 Years
“Working with Taylor, I never felt rushed to achieve a certain goal, and I was able to learn a lot about myself. I continue to use techniques in my everyday life that I’ve learned from sessions with him, and I’m really happy to have had therapy with him. My life has much improved since starting sessions with Taylor.”
